100 days in and some days have been more successful than others!

So far this year I have started to create some characters and also recently printed my first 3 & 4 colour lino prints.

So, I finally got to print my design from day 84. To say I was very excited is a total understatement.

I added in a wallpaper type design in the background (I wanted it to look like origami paper) and am really pleased with the results. It's quite tricky to line up all the different colours and the ink couldn't dry quick enough between each colour for me but I had my hairdryer to speed up the process!

The pale blue was printed first, then the pale pink, dark pink and finally the orange. I like that the blue pattern shows through the orange ink.

I have been trying to rework my bear from day 30, I would quite like to try to make him into a 3 colour lino print. I'm still playing with the design...

I have also been adding text to some of the Emily & Pickle pictures to give them more of a story book feel.
